gracehelbig Bardstown Road & 4th Street Live/some of the area down by the waterfront are fairly big hangouts in Louisville. Bardstown has stores, restaurants, & bars. 4th St Live is restaurants and bars. The waterfront is mainly museums and businesses. The Seelbach Hilton (Downtown, just off 4th Street Live) is pretty cool, it inspired a hotel in The Great Gatsby (book, not the movie). The Brown Hotel serves a Hot Brown sandwich - it was originally created there in the 1920s but it is served at other restaurants. Waverly Hills Sanatorium is one of the most haunted places in the country. I would recommend a visit to Lynn’s Paradise Cafe on a trip in the future, since it’s not currently open.
I think I’m gonna step away from tumblr for a while, read a book or something idk
Fuck smart kids who devalue achievements of average kids. If you did poorly in high school and your GPA jumped the fuck up in college, don’t let anyone talk down at you just because it’s not a 4.0. You’re a fuckin champion.
