gracehelbig Bardstown Road & 4th Street Live/some of the area down by the waterfront are fairly big hangouts in Louisville. Bardstown has stores, restaurants, & bars. 4th St Live is restaurants and bars. The waterfront is mainly museums and businesses. The Seelbach Hilton (Downtown, just off 4th Street Live) is pretty cool, it inspired a hotel in The Great Gatsby (book, not the movie). The Brown Hotel serves a Hot Brown sandwich - it was originally created there in the 1920s but it is served at other restaurants. Waverly Hills Sanatorium is one of the most haunted places in the country. I would recommend a visit to Lynn’s Paradise Cafe on a trip in the future, since it’s not currently open.

I think I’m gonna step away from tumblr for a while, read a book or something idk

Fuck smart kids who devalue achievements of average kids. If you did poorly in high school and your GPA jumped the fuck up in college, don’t let anyone talk down at you just because it’s not a 4.0. You’re a fuckin champion.

When the priests were blessing the Eucharist one threw up a diamond like “HOVA” and the other one had his hands up like “bitch please”

"I am in the father and the father is in me" I’m dying I’m not mature enough for this

I FOUND OUT TODAY THAT WHEN YOU GET LOST IN THE STORE AS A CHILD ALL THE EMPLOYEES ASSEMBLE LIKE MINIMUM WAGE AVENGERS TO HELP YOU FIND YOUR MOM/DAD

24. My ID says I’m 5’6” but I’m probably 5’5”

43. Favorite song ever? That’s really hard. I love a lot of songs for a lot of different reasons.

  • "Heaven" by Los Lonely Boys - because the guitar just kills me and so do the lyrics
  • "The Prayer" by Charlotte Church and Josh Groban - it was on the mix that played at my Grandmom’s wake and it always calms me down
  • "With A Little Help From My Friends" by Joe Cocker - I love his version so much more than the original, there’s so much more feeling in it
  • "I’ve Loved You Before" by Melissa Etheridge - it’s fucking beautiful, if you haven’t heard it you should be listening to it right now until the end of time (this whole album is perfect)
  • "Listening" by J-Live feat. Kola Rock - my sister gave me a mix with this song on it, I just love the flow of it
  • "Exhausted Love" by Eyedea & Abilities - idk this just really describes me as a person and I love it
  • I could keep going

59. I joined tumblr because I used to be really into Glee (when it first came out so 4/5 years ago) and would always check Dianna Agron’s blog.

I hate leaving class to go to the bathroom because it’s basically announcing that you’re taking a shit if you’re gone for too long
